Runnings Rounds

This past Saturday I ran in the
Rock N Roll Half Marathon in Seattle
and WON!

Just kidding.
I got a PR, which I am very happy about, and am anxious to do another race and get an even better time :)
(here I am eating my sis' real food bar, Barre, before the race. :)

I wish I had taken more photos day of, because there were MANY peepsles that deserved to be documented: Running Elvis, Running Guy in Speedo, and possibly the hottest guy there - Runner in Velvet Top Hat and Overcoat.
And here I thought it was appropriate to wear actual running attire...
Me = obviously not hip

I also went to a Sounders Soccer game where there was a kid with the most amazing hair I'd ever seen.
(poor quality photo, sorrys. There was a ton of light, but it was just too much for the iPhone.)
I'm thinking about coloring my hair and not quite sure what color to pick, and this kid may have tipped the balance over to blue/green stripes. Super psyched.

I am also working on making this shirt
into a shirt dress.
I like the colors, and have been wanting to make a shirt dress for a while.
The shirt is quite large, and though it has been utilized before as costumes, like..

an 80's dress
epically cooler than i am now.

and a fat trucker's party shirt,
(I'm a "fierce Grecian warrior"... and I'm boutsta punch hillbilly Jed in those crooked teefs!)

I just don't think I can get away with wearing it as is...

Or can I??
Yeeeeeah....
