Work it out, girrrl!

being unemployed means I have time to finally work out, and the excuses that once
ran rampant are quieted! hoooray!
I have always loved to exercise. everything about it is awesome:
the clothes, the workouts, the results!
the high I get after is probably the best part though.
(endorphins = AMAZOR)
even though I love to work out, sometimes
(i.e. almost all of the time)
I just can't get myself to go out and just DO IT.
so, here are a few things I've found around the web that may help those of us who
*sometimes*
lack the motivation, interest or skills to get off our bottoms.
I think these will help you to kick some serious
squishy tushy!
(haha.. that makes me laugh)

I've been receiving email newsletters from VitalJuice for a while now
and they are packed with great advice on staying fit, inspired/motivated and healthy.
if you are located in New York, Chicago or Los Angeles, you are in luck because there are newsletters specifically for your cities. if you live elsewhere (like myself),
you can subscribe to the "VitalJuice: Everywhere" or "VitalJuice: Recipes" newsletters.
(they also have a "VitalJuice: Mom" too, but we're not there yet..)

often times, what you need to get the motivation to work out
is to try something new.
not only does it challenge your muscles, but it challenges your brain, keeping you on your toes
(which this workout LITERALLY does!)
check out this review of the Barre3 workout on FitSugar. I have been going to the Capitol Hill studio in Seattle for 3 months and I can honestly say that it is one of the most
mentally and physically challenging workouts I've ever done.
If you are like me, your legs will be shaking VIOLENTLY (this is good! shaking = you're breaking/building new muscle fibers = toned tushy)
*also, Madonna does this work out.. and she's badass, so... yeah.

..and if you don't lack motivation, but maybe a little flexibility,
check out this post about your new best friend, the Foam Roller, by Fit Bottomed Girls!
this random piece of equipment is AMAZING.
for $30, you buy a masseur for the rest of your life.
it also helps in discovering if your body is imbalanced, and if you are working one side
harder than the other. mine is my right side.
(my poor right side... sigh..)
it's always really good to be aware and be managing these kinds of discrepancies in your body since they are the things that can ultimately cause injuries.

take care of that tush of yours! it's da-bomb!

love
liz xo
